Posted on: September 24, 2011

Flaunting off its fashionable shiny black diamond design, the TS-219 model offers stupendous system performance, rich features and high stability. Users can conveniently create an IP-SAN (storage area network) for data backup or storage capacity expansion on the home or office network.

The TS-219 supports two hot-swappable hard drives, up to 4TB storage capacity. It also bundles Turbo NAS firmware 3.0 for access to Cover Flow-like AJAX web interface.

It is all-in-one portable server solution. Plug it into your network and you have up to 4TB of external storage in two hot swappable SATA hard drive bays. You can also add external drives to one of the USB 2.0 ports.

Besides being an exceptional back up device, the TS-219 is a great multimedia server supporting both iTunes and DLNA. The TS-219 functions as both a web server and an FTP server. Now you don't have to worry about emailing large files again. Just give out the FTP or web address and people can get the files at their leisure. Make your life easier with QNAP.
